It has never looked better - completely re-furbished for the 2011 season.Large enough to accommodate all of our customers (8m x10m) it is always popular ,hours of fun and games or a relaxing swim followed by some serious sunbathing on one of our the terraces.

Traditional self-catering holiday villas

Our fab villas are well designed and furnished to a high standard with a real 'home from home' feel. We have two great BBQ areas and recipes for you to enjoy some healthy local dishes using olive oil from our own trees.

Views from the Villas

To the front you see the White Mountains (Lefka Ori) and to the rear is Stavros Mountain. It is a lovely relaxing spot reached from the village by a country lane with olive trees lining the route.

3 of the best local beaches can be found less than a 10 minute drive away.

Surrounded by wonderful beaches

The beautiful, shallow bay of Tersanas is situated approximately 1km away, always very popular with visiting families, also the famous Stavros beach is a mere 5 minute drive. Kalathas and Blue Beach can be found close by. Sunday lunch at Marathi Beach, a 20 min. drive is a fantastic day out

Fishing boats at Chania Harbour

Fishing boats at Chania Harbour

Spend a relaxing day strolling around the ancient Ventian harbour of Chania. Little fishing boats bobbing about after the fisherman have landed the catch of the previous evening. Lovely tavernas line the harbour front offering delicious fresh fishes from their BBQs and local wines -its a great place to sit, unwind and watch the world go by. Quaint, trendy shops fill the old ventian streets - the famous leather alley and knife alley are just off the harbour. .

Sunset over Cretanvillas

Sunset over Cretanvillas

What a breathtaking sight - a Cretan sunset!

Relax and unwind, the pool is a blue shimmering light in the dark, the garden lighting illuminates the flowers and plants. The world is so peaceful at this moment.

The BBQ crackles as you sip your ice cold beer.

Enjoy a little bit of heaven at our Olive Grove Villas!

White Mountains

White Mountains in February

The White mountains or Lefka Ori - a spine of mountains running through the middle of the island. Majestic views can be seen from our village and up until early May the mountains are covered in snow.

An unforgettable day out - drive into the mountains, visit the botanical park near Omolos or one of many fantastic Greek tavernas, serving home-grown, organic dishes.

Stunning, wonderul views, everywhere you look!

River at Georgeopolis

River at Georgeopolis

As you approach this village off the National road heading towards Rethmynon you would be forgiven for thinking that it is a 'one horse town'. Drive through the village down to the river and you will find a beautiful, serene little spot. Along the river there are a few good tavernas for a long, lazy lunch or if your feeling energetic hire a small rowing boat. There is a lovely sandy beach and a quaint little chapel out on the jetty. We recommend this as a full day out - try also the gorgeous lake Kournas, with boats and great tavernas.

Marathi Beach

Marathi Beach

Overlooking Souda Bay - a very lovely spot.

This long, long lovely stretch of golden sand can be found close by - a mere 20-25 minute drive from the villas, a little bit difficult to find but perseverance will pay off! For those who hate busy beaches, Marathi is just perfect as it's quiet even at the height of the touist season.

Great tavernas selling a range of seafood - Marathi is worth a visit!

Roman Baths at Aptera

Roman Baths at Ancient Aptera

One of my favourite places to visit as it's so un-commercialised - the ruins of this Roman city are spread out over a hill-top site with lovely views of Souda Bay.

In spring time it's a delight, covered in lovely little flowers, at any time with a little imagination it's impressive. Stop for a coffee or lunch at one of two very good tavernas in Aptera village.

This would be a half day out and could combine a visit to the nice town of Kalives or Almerida.

Stavros Beach

Stavros Beach

This is where the locals young and old go -nestled beneath Stavros mountain is a long crescent of golden sand with lovely clean water. Really popular through the summer months, tavernas in plenty whose waiters will happily take your order for drinks or snacks from the comfort of your sunbed.

Great for those who like to be seen!

Families with young children usually favour Tersanas beach

Tersanas Cove

Tersanas beach from the fish taverna

Families with young children will love it here - the water is clean and very shallow until you get quite far out. Greek families arrive on mass around 11am but they are usually gone by about 1pm, when things get a little quieter.

At the far end of the bay there is a fresh fish taverna run by Theo and Kira, be assured of a warm welcome and delicious fresh fish and salads. Live Greek dancing most Saturday evenings.
